  9. Ax is a utility that lets you convert the Aminet INDEX into a database.
  10. You can search or browse through the database, mark files, and merge new
  11. RECENT files to keep the database current.  This is a beta release.

  13. Ax is Amiga User Interface Style Guide-compliant, has full public screen
  14. support, and allows multiple databases to be kept.  Ax's search engine is
  15. reasonably fast, given the size of the Aminet INDEX.
